Lessons are available throughout the year. Our lounge is heated for your winter comfort. We provide everything you will need including bridles, saddle pads and comfortable well fitted saddles. We also provide ASTM-SEI helmets for our riders.
Summer Wind Stables' horses are well cared for and well mannered. We have horses and ponies for beginners through experienced riders.
Our course of instruction and our instructors assure you of a pleasant, safe experience. We pride ourselves in our excellent instructors and our friendly, family environment.
Our riders have excellent equitation and go onto succeed in any form of riding they choose.
We expose our riders to all possible equestrian activities to ensure a well rounded, fun and interesting experience. Many of the students go onto very successful equestrian careers because of the knowledge gained at Summer Wind Stables
Our riders have a variety of goals and we teach each of them the skills they need to trail ride, show and event, as well as for ownership of their own horse.

Tack lessons are provided at $10.00 per lessons, until a rider can saddle and bridle a horse without help.
We have a detailed "tacking criteria", our riders need to know before tacking alone. This is a very important part of a riders experience and is a wonderful way for riders to get comfortable on the ground with the horse. It enhances their riding experience to have confidence with the horse on the ground.
